Big cross training props to these ladies that hung in there and accomplished a new 2 them cross training for December.
Blue Ribbon: Congrats to my still imaginary friend Beth @ Run + Travel who ice skated line danced for her 12th challenge. She and I were the only ones to do one new challenge each month of 2012.

Beth, ice skating. Girl, didn't find you in LA and just missed you in MS. Here's to October 2013 for a meet up!
Red Ribbon: Andrea @ Bluegrass Tri Chick accomplished 12 New CTs, but squeeezed four of them in to December (don't ever say you can't accomplish anything new in that busy month)! She tried R.I.P.P.E.D, CycleYou, TRX and, my favorite, paddle boarding.

Amazing Andrea paddle boarding.
White Ribbon: Elizabeth @ Running for Bling completed 10 out of 12 months. In December she tried Crossfit for the first time. Nice job, E.

Honorable Mention: Krissy @ Krissy Runs joined the competition for the last half of the year. She accomplished 6 in 6 months, ending with an amazing trip to the Bahamas.

In December, I finally got to my local Y to try a new class. Totally Toned. Circuit training at it's best.
Totally Toned -- looks like fun, right?
Check out the links on the New 2 U Cross Training page if you are looking for some inspiration for this dreary January.
Thanks to all of you that joined in, even if it was for just one month. I hope you found inspiration and motivation in this challenge.

it was fun-but so glad it's over :)
sorry i sucked at your challenge, on the upside I enjoyed kettlebells, bootcamp, and just dance so much, they are a staple in my weekly routine
This was such a great challenge... and I utterly failed at it. Do I get a lump of coal for 2 out of 12?
Thanks for the challenge. I actually still do most of the things that I tried during the challenge on a weekly basis(except for all the stuff I did in the Bahamas).
Congrats to all of the participants. I can only imagine how "challenging" this challenge would be toward the last couple of months. I would have to get very creative.
Woo hoo! Blue ribbon! :D
That said... I'm both happy and sad this challenge is over. Maybe I'll try Zumba anyway. ;)
Thank you SO MUCH for organizing!
